Updating email password on Samsung Android phone email app

Open the Samsung Email App.

Once opened, tap on the Three lines in the top left next to Inbox:

Next, tap the Cog Wheel/Settings that is in the top right of the screen:

Now tap your Email address at the top of the screen:

Scroll down to Advanced settings and tap on Server settings:

In Server settings, there will be 3 sections where server connection settings can be changed.

- The first section is for Account Details, where you can update the saved password: Delete the old one and type the new password.

- Next, will be the Incoming server settings, here you can edit the incoming server, the Security Type Port and the IMAP path Prefix: Do not change anything

- The last section is the Outgoing server settings, here you edit the outgoing server, the Security type, Port.
All HIS servers require authentication, so if the password has changed you will need to update it here as well: Delete the old one and type the new password.

Once the settings have been updated tap Done and the settings will be checked.

- If successful you will be taken back to the previous page, and you can tap on the arrow in the top left twice to return to your emails.

- If it fails a message saying such will pop up, you will need to tap OK and check the setting for typos, and re-type the password.
