Setting email in Windows Mail (Desktop)
Here is how to Windows Mail on a Desktop Computer or tablet
- On the Start screen tap/click the Mail tile
- Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Settings (If you're using a mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer down, and then click Settings)
- Tap/Click Accounts
- Tap/Click Add an account
- Tap/Click Other Account
- Expand the window by pressing the show details button
- Enter the settings below on the following screen:
- Email Address: Your full Email Address (<username>@<your-domain.xxx>)
- Username: Your full Email Address (<username>@<your-domain.xxx>)
- Password: The password you use to login to your Email account
- Incoming (IMAP) email server: * if you have an @his.com or @hers.com address : use "mail.his.com" or if you have your own domain like "domain.ext" use the format: "domain-ext.his.com"
- Port: 143
- Incoming server requires SSL: Not Checked
- Outgoing (SMTP) email server: if you have an @his.com or @hers.com address : use "mail.his.com" or if you have your own domain like "domain.ext" use the format: "domain-ext.his.com"
- Port: 587
- Outgoing server requires SSL: Not Checked
- Outgoing server requires authentication: Checked
- Use the same username and password to send and receive email: Yes

Finally, click the back arrow at the top of the column to save the changes you've made.
